Who is responsible
LOVERBOYYY♥ is a founder led performance creative studio operated by Cody Laughlin in Ontario, Canada. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to cody@loverboyyy.com.
What we collect
When you submit a creative brief or contact Cody, we may collect the information you choose to provide, including your name, work email, brand, product URL, platform, commercial path, creative bottleneck and project notes.
The site uses Plausible Analytics to receive aggregate website usage information. The current site does not intentionally use advertising pixels or behavioural advertising cookies.
Why we use it
- To review and respond to your request.
- To assess fit, prepare a scope or quote and manage a potential or active client relationship.
- To operate, secure and improve the website and brief process.
- To meet legal, accounting and record keeping obligations.
Submitting a brief does not subscribe you to a marketing list. Any commercial electronic messages will be handled under applicable Canadian consent, identification and unsubscribe requirements.
Service providers and location
LOVERBOYYY♥ uses service providers to host the website, receive forms, route email and measure aggregate website use. These providers currently include Netlify, Microsoft and Plausible. They may process or store information outside Canada, where it can be subject to the laws of that location.
Information is not sold. It is shared only when reasonably necessary to operate the service, complete requested work, comply with law or protect legitimate rights and security.
Retention and safeguards
Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose described, an active or potential business relationship, legal obligations, dispute resolution and ordinary business records. Reasonable administrative, technical and service provider safeguards are used, but no online system can promise absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask to access or correct personal information held about you, withdraw consent where applicable, or raise a privacy concern. Email cody@loverboyyy.com. Identity may need to be verified before a request is completed. If a concern is not resolved, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
This notice may be updated when the website, service providers or legal obligations change. The updated date at the top will identify the current version.
